I think that the Health Care system in the America is broken. But I feel like people are just looking at the insurance companies as it is thier fault that it cost so much to be insured. I think we need to look at the doctors and hospitals and pharmaceutacal companies. Because of thier unreasonable rates for health services is the reason that insurance is so high. So even if we do get universal health care it will still take a huge toll on our tax dollars. So it wouldnt realy accomplish that much. But if we fixed the Health Care system from the people providing the care by possibly setting government limits on how much can be charged for drugs and services. I think we will see a ripple effect through health care leading to cheaper and more effective insurance. Which will then not only lead to more people bieng insured but better insured and better covered.

Proposed amendment

I would like to propose an amendment that would help make our enviorment cleaner and save a lot of gas. I propose that no passanger car shall have a mpg less then 20. We need to ratify this bill because we are producing “7 billion tones of CO₂ in 2004, 16 % higher than emissions in the late 90′s”. Also this bill targets on trying to eliminate some gass guzzling suvs. Because suv’s put out 47% more air polution then an average car. This amendment is vary important to me because of my love for the enviorment and what i feel is my duty to protect it. And not only should we pass it to help the enviorment. We should also pass it so the USA is not the world leader in production of greenhouse gases. I think the reason this bill has never been proposed before is that we didnt have the technology to make a car go 20 mpg and also hold 6 people at the same time. Which i why this makes this the perfect time to make this amendment. Some people may say that this bill will hurt car companies. I think this will help car companies beacause the government will most likely hand out inncentives to people who meet these new standards. Which would cause more people to want to buy a car causeing a boom in auto sales which would help the economy.
